This report explains the Nordic Energy Efficient Mortgage Hub's (NEEM) data foundation to scale financing for energy-efficient renovations in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. It emphasizes the importance of a.o. energy consumption, building parameters, and weather data, to support banks in identifying potential candidates for energy-efficient mortgages. The project aimed to facilitate the transition to greener energy solutions, aligning with the European Green Deal and national climate objectives. By leveraging digital data and collaboration across sectors, the initiative sought to create a sustainable blueprint for energy-efficient financing.
